In 2023, Sports Turf Solutions renovated the Canyon Course at Blue Canyon Country Club in Phuket, Thailand, restoring all tees, fairways, and greens. This historic course, which has hosted events like the Johnny Walker Classic and featured legends such as Tiger Woods and Greg Norman, was revitalized to align with its original design by Yoshikazu Kato. The project utilized ITGAP-certified grasses from the team at Sustainable Turf Farms, converting the greens to TifEagle Bermuda for higher speeds, upgrading fairways to Zeon Zoysia, and selecting Stadium Zoysia for the tees and surrounds for their durability and appeal.

To support the revitalization of the course, the irrigation system was modernized with advanced Hunter products, renowned for their efficiency and reliability in turf management. STS handled the complete design and installation of this new irrigation system for all 18 holes. This renovation included installing a sophisticated decoder system that allows for precise control and monitoring of irrigation practices, optimizing water usage, and promoting healthy growth throughout the course.
