Features of the TWT400 Wheel Trencher
- Prime Mover: Compatible with 45–90 HP tractors featuring hydrostatic or slow-speed creep gearboxes with a three-point linkage PTO output at 540 rpm.
- Trench Depths: Adjustable trench depths of 250mm, 300mm, 350mm, and 400mm.
- Trench Widths: Trench widths can range from 50mm to 95mm.
- Cutting Wheel: It is equipped with an 800mm digging disc made from mild steel, featuring durable carbide tungsten teeth for efficient cutting.
- Transmission: The trenching unit is driven by a PTO shaft, incorporating an adjustable torque limiting safety clutch and reduction gearbox for reliable operation.
- Conveyor System: The digging wheel is completely enclosed above ground, directing soil onto a conveyor that elevates it onto a small truck running alongside the trencher.
- Conventional Trenching: The conveyor unit can be easily removed, allowing the TWT400 to function as a traditional trencher.
