GT Series
The MAREDO GT series offers great solutions for maintenance of golf greens. A wide range of GT attachments can be connected to Toro, Jacobsen, John Deere and Baroness triple green mowers. These green mowers can now be used for much more than just mowing. Aerating, Verticutting, Hollow Coring Overseeding, Rolling, Sweeping etc. can now all be executed fast and with minimal surface disruption. A regular light grooming/ vertical mowing treatment is important to keep greens is good shape. The amount of organic matter can be controlled, and unwanted growth gets removed giving precious grass room to grow. The problem with vertical mowing or grooming is the visual slits regular groomers will produce. The slits will affect ball roll on greens. MAREDO came up with a solution: The GT190 Fraze-Groomer. The MAREDO GT190 heads are equipped with unique technology. The main shaft reverse rotates unlike any other groomer. Besides that, the blades are placed on a slight angle on the main shaft. This results in leaving a clean pattern with short slits. Each tip of the blade will produce a short and hardy visible slit. Incorporated brushes will help leaving a clean surface ready to play on right after!
Grass and roots need Oxygen. Regular aeration is important to get this Oxygen right to the part of the grass where it needs it most: at the roots. MAREDO found a quick and efficient way to aerate greens and designed the MAREDO GT210 VibeSpike-Aerator. The unique system of vibratory spike sections helps reaching a working depth up to 35 mm./1.4'' plus it will also relieve compaction. After using the GT210, Oxygen will be able to easily reach the roots of the plant. Right where it needs it most.
Aerating grass is needed to keep grass is good condition and healthy. It is proven that aeration and cutting roots help stimulate new growth. But cutting roots is not as easy as it sounds. Big and heavy equipment use to be needed to reach a reasonable depth. This equipment however compacted the soil. MAREDO came up with a solution for this problem and found a 'light weight' solution: The MAREDO GT214 VibeDisc-Slicer heads. The GT214 heads are equipped with the reliable MAREDO vibratory system. The vibratory discs get 'hammered' into the surface by the vibratory system reaching a depth up to 35 mm. / 1.4'. Perfect cuts are the result. After using the GT214 VibeDisc-Slicer heads, new grass growth will start making your turf greener than ever.
Hollow coring with a triplex green mower? It now is possible with the unique MAREDO GT230 HiSpeed-Corer heads. The GT230 heads offer a solution for keeping greens healthy and in good shape. The hollow tines will remove huge amounts of thatch by producing a pattern of tiny well-cut holes. These holes will not affect play on greens and will heal very quick. Multiple tines and tine sizes are available. Solid tines or slicer tines will open the top surface allowing Oxygen to reach the roots of the grass. Clean greens, that is what everybody wants. The MAREDO GT250 CountRo-Sweeper heads are here to help. Whether it is wormcasts, pine needles, cores or grass clippings which are on the greens, the MAREDO GT250 helps removing it all. The GT250 heads are equipped with an integrated gearbox which make the brushes reverse rotate. Thanks to this rotation against driving direction the GT250 will leave a perfect result. The gearbox will also reduce the RPM on the brushes preventing 'burning' grass because of a too high RPM. The MAREDO GT250 comes standard with MAREDO collecting boxes. A deflector plate is optional. This deflector plate is ideal for use after topdressing and will recycle all topdress material. The MAREDO GT250 CountRo-Sweeper heads will help keeping greens clean and healthy.
Meet the new way of rolling greens: The MAREDO GT300 VibeShoe-Roller heads. Where conventional rollers tend to push material forward and create a light waved pattern, the MAREDO GT300 heads are designed with six 'shoe-sections' per head. Each shoe section has a half-rounded shape and makes a rolling movement. For a short moment each individual shoe-section is at the lowest position and has all weight of the unit available on one single section. High impact and consistent result. The GT300 heads generate a good vibration making them ideal to use after a light topdressing too. Meet the new way of rolling.
